Inflation falls to 3.2% in Catalonia in May
Inflation decreases in Catalonia

In May, inflation in Catalonia was 7 tenths of a percentage point lower than in the previous month. This is mainly due to lower fuel prices and the slowdown in the rise in food and non-alcoholic beverages prices. The latter have been falling for two months in a row, although the current CPI is 11.5% more expensive than a year ago.
At first glance, this figure may not seem very relevant, but if we compare these numbers with inflation over the last two years, it is the lowest figure ever recorded in Catalonia.
Also in Spain as a whole, inflation fell by 9 tenths of a percentage point to 3.2.
